Sustainability and Industrialization – case housing EMVS
Almudena Fuster – MPhil Architect, Innovation & Technology Department of EMVS, Madrid Housing Organisation, Spain (www.emvs.es) and Professor at University of Alcalá in Henares, Madrid (www.uah.es) – Department of Architecture.
In order to take the global perspective into consideration we have to think and act in a balanced way. At present, almost everything is referred to as being “sustainable” – but how does architecture actually BECOME sustainable?
The Fall 2012 series of GREEN ZONE lectures is initiated and organized by the “Sustainability Platform” at Aarhus School of Architecture in collaboration with the Danish Architects Organisation, AAØ and the private consultancy AplusB. Additionally the first lecture is planned in cooperation with Studio MAD at AAA, and the second lecture in cooperation with Aarhus University, Department of Engineering and School of Engineering.
